Updated May 1, 2010 IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION: Do NOT plan to take I-65 and get off at the Franklin/Shelbyville exit to get to Town and Country Christian Church. There is major road construction (a 4-mile stretch of road is closed), and you can't get here from there! If you are coming from the north, follow the S.R. 44 detour signs which will take you on I-465, and then east on I-74. Take Exit 113, and turn south on S.R. 9. Continue on State Road 9 until it intersects with McKay Road (about one mile from the traffic circle). Go west on McKay Road, which will take you past Shelbyville High School, the Middle School, and the water tower/fire station. At the four-way intersection past the schools, continue straight (west). This is now S.R. 44; the church is about 1/2 mile ahead on the left (south). Ignore the "road closed" signs at this point.

If you are coming from the south on I-65, take the Flat Rock/Edinburgh exit (Exit #80). Go east on S.R. 252 through the town of Flat Rock. S.R. 252 will "T" into S.R. 9. Take S.R. 9 north into Shelbyville.
